The Duchess of Cornwall visits Godolphin Junior School for British Food Fortnight
On Wednesday the 24th of April 2013, the Duchess of Cornwall visited Godolphin Junior School. This was to launch ‘British Food Fortnight’. She began her visit by going into the hall where she was greeted by Mrs Clark, our school Head teacher. The school choir sang the ‘Slough Song’ as the teachers gave a hand signal that she was approaching the hall. The photographers were very excited to see her; they climbed on each other, eager for the ideal photo. The school choir also was very excited as they sang beautifully. Camilla and a pupil from GJS planted a pea plant, which is still growing in the school’s garden.
